Oh, its that time of year again....time to start making those christmas cards. Here is a card I made for a christmas card swap with a few of my friends...I used Graphic 45, Deluxe Edition Christmas Past paper ( to die for!!!) You had to come up with a technique and some layers...so this is what I came up with. I wanted the viewer to get the 'picture'.
I used Victorian Greetings as my wallpaper. I mounted it on a piece of stampin up old olive paper. I used my Labels 4 nestabilities to cut out my picture image. I used the christmas wishes paper. (I was able to get 5 good pictures from one sheet). Using my metallic gold painter marker, I 'painted' the edge of the cut out to make it look like an antique picture frame. I then used Ultra Thick Embossing powder to make the glass. I then mounted it onto the Nestabilities oval cutout just so it would break up the image against the wallpaper. I then used my metallic gold painter marker and 'painted' the edges of my cardstock base and old olive cardstock. If you don't own a painter marker...you gotta get one! Its the bomb! Hope you enjoyed my card. Happy Holidays...
